Job Description

Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, highly available data pipelines that store, clean, transform, and aggregate data.
Design and develop data flow using AWS cloud analytics tools.
Participate in all phases of the Enterprise Data platform development life cycle as appropriate; including, but not limited to gathering customer requirements, defining technical requirements, creating high level architecture diagrams, data validation etc.
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to deliver impactful insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error handling methods.
Improve automation and simplifying data as a service.
Position includes option to telecommute from any location within the U.S.

Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or eight (8) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer, IT Analyst, or a related occupation.
Requires four (4) years of experience with: analysis of business/system requirements; AWS related technologies including: S3, Glue, Redshift, and Apache Spark; creating pipeline and framework for the data ingestion and data storage using Informatica, Talend and Databricks; and Data modelling, including data mart or data warehouse solutions.
Requires three (3) years of experience with: designing star/snowflake data model; and developing and deploying reports using PowerBI or Tableau to meet the analytical needs of the business department(s). Must pass a background check and drug test before beginning employment.
