Work independently to:

Create drawing sets.
Understanding and execution of drafting standards: scale, title blocks, views, sheet sets and plotting.
Create schedules: panelboard, mechanical, lighting fixture etc.
General Floor Plan Creation
layout and circuit receptacles
layout and circuit lighting fixtures and controls.
layout fire alarm devices and equipment
Design a power riser diagram
Coordinate Equipment locations using mechanical and plumbing drawings.
Add load into electrical schedules
Size disconnects and equipment feeders
Load calculations: Panel, transformer, generator and service sizing (with direction)
Layout electrical rooms
Capture and track load data from devices and equipment
Design a fire alarm riser diagram.
In depth National Electrical Code, NFPA 70 and Fire Alarm Code NFPA 72 understanding and application for above tasks.
Visit project locations to document and understand existing conditions.
Meet with customers to define project scope.
Motivated, go-getter, and ready to learn/grow
Familiar with 3D modeling – ideally Revit

Plusses:

Experience with any of the following: Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD

This Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in delivering high-quality construction documents from the Engineering Department to the field. This Engineer will work closely with senior staff, clients and partners to generate a wide range of documentation, including electrical construction documents, pre-fabrication drawings, detailed sketches, and other construction control documentation. The Engineer/Designer will also participate in various construction coordination processes, including 3D modeling (BIM), clash detection between trades, and generating coordination drawings for submittal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
