Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Material Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to oversee and manage material selection and testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction materials, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in materials engineering, preferably in the construction industry.

- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, their properties, and applications.

- Proficiency in material testing methods and equipment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement material testing and quality control procedures.

- Analyse and select appropriate materials for construction projects based on project specifications and performance requirements.

- Conduct material performance assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and proper usage of materials.

- Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.

- Troubleshoot material-related issues and provide solutions to ensure project integrity and durability.

Pay: $96,973.00 - $104,763.00 per year
