Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Engineer who can create, problem solve, and has a talent for working multiple projects that are specialized based on each customers' needs. If you became an engineer to design, assist in assembly, and see your finished product, we have the ideal position for you. Our Engineers design new products and direct shop personal in the manufacturing, and assembly of their designs.

Mechanical Engineer Job Duties:

· Work with sales team to engineer material handling products as directed by customers.

· Work with customers on design builds, and problem solving.

· Generate concept, approval, and fabrication drawings in a timely and accurate manner.

· Develop innovative lifting and material handling solutions to meet customer needs by applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and materials.

· Assure system and product quality by testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.

· Maintain manufacturing control system by preparing detailed, multi-level bill of materials.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Ability to work with shop personnel as needed to solve any design issues.

· Miscellaneous tasks upon request.

Skills/Qualifications:

· B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering,

· Mechanical engineering experience.

· Electrical engineering experience a plus.

· Hands-on ability with complex mechanical equipment and constructing new equipment.

· Ability to work with and direct shop personnel.

· Verbal and written communication skills needed to present complex technical information.

· Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

· Preferred experience in Solidworks.
