Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated senior production engineer to join our team. As a production engineer, you will be responsible for detail modeling and design of various products from LMC's 28 unique product families. All models will be generated using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented individual possessing significant experience with Autodesk Inventor (iParts, iAssembly, iLogic, VBA, etc.) Experience with ERP systems is encouraged but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Generate accurate 3D models of existing equipment using best modelling practices.
Design new equipment based on information provided on an order form.
Create technical and fabrication drawings.
Maintain accurate BOMs for all designed machines.
Coordinate with the programming department to ensure all parts successfully make it to the shop floor.
Enter machine information into Epicor.
Improve our existing process through the creation and use of iLogic.
Mentor less experienced team members on best drawing practices.

Required Qualifications:

Significant experience modelling general parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor.
Significant experience with Autodesk Inventor's sheet metal environment.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor's frame generator.
Knowledge of and ability to apply best modelling practices.
Moderate to significant experience working with iLogic, iParts, and iAssemblies.
A positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualification:

Any of the following certification: ACA, ACP, ACE, CSWA, CSWP, CSWPA-SM, CSWPA-DT, CSWPA-WD.
Experience working with assets in Autodesk Inventor.
DFM experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
