To whom it may concern,
First, let me start by thanking you for considering me when making the decision to add an important piece to your development team. I am a Senior Software Engineer with past experience ranging from low level device driver creation all the way up the software stack to Java UI development. My passion is coding, solving interesting problems, and creating software which people find useful in their day to day lives. Java is my preferred language, but I have had many projects throughout my career where I have completed the job using a myriad of other programming languages.
As you can see from my resume, the companies I have worked for have been varied. The scope of my teams were sometimes very focused and sometimes spanning multiple fields of interest. With each new project I have enjoyed the chance to learn something new about software, how the project fills a need using the software we were creating, and about the people in the teams I have worked with.
