I have confident I can investigate, perform & execute the job until the work is done. I have experiences with having BS & MS In geology, MS in Water Resources Engineering & recently AS in Construction. My practices obtained within decades of working on related projects in office and in the field in Sedimentary Geology, Groundwater Investigation and Well Design & tests. I completed projects on environmental & water supply issues such as hazardous waste, need of clean water for rural, factories and agriculture. In addition, I worked on land surveying, groundwater exploration, water supply management and exercised some construction works. My skills will cover most and maybe all of your needs. Site assessment includes ISA, PSI continued to the final SI, includes soil vapor gas tests & remediation.
Work examples; I have been assigned projects such as Malibu Creek/Bridge involved with Texaco gas station, finding pollution in soil and storm water, and then suggested cleanup. Also at National/ Overland former gas station in Culver City; thus soil cleanup in situ. Pear blossom Blvd. in Palmdale with 52 gas stations inspection for environmental hazardous contamination; found most underground fuel tanks had single wall with leaking to the soil & into groundwater that caused highly contamination. Exploring some pollution in Pleasant Valley (Ventura) with pesticide/ herbicide & with leaking oil of agriculture machines’ junk yard was other examples of my investigation in field. In route 23 finding of G. Water contamination by former gas station, thus programmed pumping for cleanup. I had some land slide investigation projects in Malibu, as well cause of construction sliding in San Fernando Valley, CPK.
In addition, I have experience of geological foundation, land surveying and building construction. Field working is my favor jobs in most activities. Water well design & construction plus water extraction tests have been my most search & inspections when disputes between two parties arose. Inspection of entire maintenance yards in Los Angeles County was additional job I performed.
In investigation for clean water supply in the west of Iran I designed & proposed consumption of high mountain glacier (snow-melt) for the city, which originated Gamasiab Spring & waterfall. The Gamasiab River running at the east side of city of Nahavand, in mid-west of Iran with 14 cubic meters per second volume water flow. Design was included a reservoir and then pumping water to an aqueduct, at eight meters higher elevation through 8 km, run it in canal for distribution to the city and to the lands for agriculture in 100 km long. In addition, I have been active in soil & water sampling, logging formation, and investigating for Karstic regime (Water running in Limestone). Also, I was Inspector worked for Federal Census in 2000, 2010 & 2020 totally 8 months & all elections since 1990.
Briefly I have experienced: Groundwater Sampling, Collection of Soil Samples & did Classification, Installation of Monitoring Wells & did Extraction Tests, Identification & Evaluation of Sensitive Receptors, Analyzing & Interpreting Analytical Data, Authoring Technical Reports, Progressing Sites Towards Regulatory Closure, Learning & Honing the Fundamentals of Data Collection; Data Validity & Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC); P1
