We're seeking an experienced engineer with a positive attitude who is eager to advance their career!Region NCE > Customer Project Execution > Heavy Lift & Site Engineering Offshore Heavy Lift & Site Engineering team in Vestas is responsible for the technical and marine operations of Offshore Installation Vessels and Service Jack-Up Vessels for Main Component Exchanges in Northern Europe where we support our offshore wind projects. You will become a part of the team with skilled and experienced subject-matter experts within the offshore installation and service logistics area.
Responsibilities - Prepare and review seabed and site data, lifting plans, ghost positions, SSA/LPA, and coordinate with jack-up vessel owners and project teams.
- Participate in interface meetings with clients, vessel providers, MWS, and other contractors to ensure smooth information exchange and task distribution within Vestas.
- Assist Sales, Construction, and Service teams with technical and marine operations to ensure safe and efficient vessel sailing, jacking, and lifting.
- Conduct thorough assessments of seabed and site conditions to inform project planning and execution.
- Develop and review detailed lifting plans and ghost positions for operational accuracy.
- Liaise with installation jack-up vessel owners and project teams to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Support technical and marine operations across various functions to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
Qualifications - 7+ years of experience, preferably in Offshore Wind or Oil & Gas with Rigs/Jack-Ups.
- Engineering degree in mechanical, civil, geotechnical, or marine fields.
- Extensive knowledge of projection and ship navigation systems.
- Proficient in marine surveys and data modeling of LIDAR and bathymetric datasets.
- Experienced in chart production and handling pUXO, MAG, SSS, and SUB objects.
- Deep expertise in Offshore Wind Jack-Up Vessels, Marine Operations, and Heavy Lift and Transport.
- Skilled in GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office, with fluency in English.
