Kopius is actively seeking an enthusiastic Sr Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The project is within Data industry and is based in Boise, Idaho. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems to support business needs.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into data warehouses.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through regular monitoring, validation, and improvement.
- Implement data security and governance practices to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Optimize database queries and processes for speed and efficiency.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis for data-related issues.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend their adoption.
- Document data processes, pipelines, and system designs for effective knowledge sharing.
Basic Qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong in Microsoft Fabric and data engineering to participate in the ingestion of data from a large acquisition.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their data solutions.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and data pipeline orchestration frameworks.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance.

- This is a full-time, short-term opportunity for an initial 5-month period, with the potential for extension.

- Pay range: $10,000–$14,400 monthly. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education or training
