Position Specific DescriptionNextEra's Power Generation Division is seeking a Lead Project Manager to join its renewable strategy team. Employees in this role will drive innovative operational solutions across NextEra's wind, solar and battery energy storage sites. This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional with a strong background in operations and dedication to continuous improvement.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
-Lead high-visibility and strategically important projects that drive operational excellence across the organization
-Champion continuous improvement initiatives, managing research, business case evaluations, vendor relationships, and project execution
-Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to deliver high-impact projects within scope, budget and timelines

Job Duties & Responsibilities- Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
- Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
- Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
- Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues
- Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
- Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 6+ years
Preferred Qualifications- Master's Degree
