Job Summary
We are looking for an individual who wants to apply their technical skills in a hyper-growth disruptive medical device arena that is passionate about improving the lives of patients.
As a Data & Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with Focal One Finance, Sales, Logistics, and other business teams to support the collection, transformation, and visualization of data in the form of dashboards for Executives Reporting. This role will provide hands-on experience in data ingestion from different source systems like SAP, HubSpot, Concur, Cognos, Focal One Medical Devices, data transformation, data wrangling and presenting the data in the form of insightful reports and dashboards. analytics, helping to solve business problems and gaining exposure to various tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining reliable and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Participate in data modeling and database schema design to optimize storage and retrieval.
- Assist in integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs, third-party systems, and internal databases.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.
- Collecting, cleaning, and preparing data from various sources for analysis.
- Development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations on Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in automating data processes and improving data quality.
- Document processes and findings, and present results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology with concentration in Data Science / Data Analytics
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Data Analysis tools and languages such as Scala, Python, R, SQL,
- 2 years’ experience Power BI building insightful dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Driven to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Databricks or Azure Databricks or similar platform.
- Exposure to business data, analytics concepts, and tools.
