POSITION SUMMARY:- The Advanced Business Finance Analyst reports to the Regional Director, Business Finance

As an Advanced Business Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial analysis, planning, and decision-making processes within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex financial projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business growth and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Analysis and Reporting:- Lead comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budget projections for senior management, providing insights into key drivers and trends impacting business performance.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to monitor and track performance against strategic objectives.
Budgeting and Planning Leadership:- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, collaborating with business units to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on budgeting strategies, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
Financial Modeling and Decision Support:- Develop complex financial models to evaluate business opportunities, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives, providing insights into potential risks and opportunities.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the impact of various business scenarios and guide decision-making processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, to gather input, validate assumptions, and drive alignment on financial goals and objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on financial matters, providing guidance and support to business partners to drive informed decision-making.
Process Improvement and Innovation:- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the finance function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in finance and analytics, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
COMPETENCIES: - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis, reporting, and documentation, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze business drivers, trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to lead complex financial projects, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 6 - 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis roles, with a proven track record of driving financial analysis and decision support initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with financial modeling, data visualization, or business intelligence tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, principles, and practices, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
