Our client, an international oilfield services company is looking for a Project Manager to be based in the Middle East.
Core Duties:
- Serve as the primary contact for all client-related concerns and requirements, including QHSE issues/audits, as well as technical and operational matters.
- As the key point of contact, the Project Manager is responsible for maintaining and sharing organizational charts of their accounts with relevant internal teams.
- Foster and enhance client relationships to establish long-term partnerships.
- Keep accurate client records, ensuring updates and renewals of contracts are tracked efficiently.
- Maintain a precise job database to provide customers with immediate performance feedback over a specific period or in designated areas.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues and other internal teams to create strategic marketing plans and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Work alongside internal teams to craft and present high-quality job proposals to clients, utilizing various company software tools such as Runner, Hart, and Whipsim.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively upsell and cross-sell to clients.
- Design and conduct workshops, seminars, or presentations tailored to current and prospective clients' needs, securing new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at forums, conventions, exhibitions, and similar events to promote products and services.
- Provide on-site technical support for fishing, remedial, and thru-tubing operations, both planned and unplanned. This includes offering insightful feedback during online and in-person meetings with clients, as well as supplying fishing diagrams, BHA details, fishing procedures, thru-tubing motor BHA specifics, and thru-tubing fishing BHA information.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in all fundamental sales practices, including prospecting, cold calling, active listening, planning, delivering presentations, addressing objections, follow-ups, negotiation, closing deals, conflict resolution, networking, generating referrals, and reporting.
- A solid understanding of the commercial landscape, market dynamics, and customer needs is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to coordinate and collaborate effectively with external parties and various departments.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a strong focus on identifying and addressing customer needs and managing customer relationships.
- Proven ability to prepare sales proposals, forecasts, and sales strategies for the assigned sales center.
- Strong analytical abilities and negotiation skills.
- Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
