Position summary : Serve as the primary Controls Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering group with responsibility for designing, programming and commissioning wide ranging industrial controls systems. Primary responsibilities include developing new solutions as well as maintaining, documenting and upgrading existing systems.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in an Electrical, Electronic or Computer curriculum strongly preferred. AAS degree, Military, or other education may also be considered with applicable skills & experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (experience with AutoCAD Electrical is preferred), MS Office and other applicable computer tools
- General electrical knowledge applicable to controls design and troubleshooting of equipment
- Familiarity with typical electrical control components including motor controls, power supplies, PLC’s, HMI’s, pilot devices, etc., with the ability to specify them appropriately and implementation.
- Design high and low voltage electrical power circuits, including the correct sizing of related conductors and components
- PLC, Drives & HMI Programming
- Local Networking, TCP/IP
- Familiarity with CSA, UL, NEC, OSHA and other applicable standards
- Self Sufficient Project Management
- Good problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Curiosity, interest in pursuing new ideas and technologies
- Desire to progress and assume additional responsibilities

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
