Position Summary
Purpose:
Assist the Operations Manager with administration of personnel competency scheme, provide reports on personnel competency and training updates, schedule onshore technicians to attend trainings, medical and Survival renewal. Liaise with HR and Global Mobility for preparation of Job Analysis and Update the MIREMPET Training & Angolanization Map.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Administer MP Angola Personnel Competency scheme.
• Assist Operations as required on personnel Competency, Training Reports.
• Assist on preparation of Job Analysis for visa request for OWM employees.
• Responsible to update MIREMPET Training & Nationalization Map.
• Liaise with Personnel on competency status and outline any deficiencies, reporting to Ops Manager on any issues preventing completion of training and competencies.
• Co-ordinate Personnel competency assessments including training certification and renewals, and client specific training.
• Coordinate with Training department to identify and provide all onshore/offshore personnel training, regulatory compliance and competency.
• Ensure all current and new hire training certification is uploaded into SumTotal.
• Review and update the Tracker of personnel Medical and Safety Certifications.
• Assist in scheduling employees on instructor led required trainings.
• Support in the preparation of all necessary travel document for local personnel traveling abroad for training.
• Book the Medical check-up.
• Organize and update personnel documents on SharePoint / S Driver.
• Fill in Timesheet of Training attendance for Onshore employees.
• Report any HSE observations when applicable.
NON-ESSENTIAL
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Ops Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities. However, direct contact with technicians and project teams to deliver information on trainings, certifications.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with planning, organizing and administration of activities and personnel.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; spoken and written.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
• Work surface is stable (flat)
