Job Title: Project Engineer

Company Overview:

Adams Robinson is an industry-leading contractor specializing in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. With a commitment to efficiency and excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team.

Position Overview:

This is an office position in Dayton, OH that works under the support and direction of the Senior Project Manager. As a Project Engineer at Adams Robinson, your role will involve close collaboration with the Project Superintendent, to assist with the overall planning, management and execution of the construction project.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with daily planning and implementation of ongoing construction tasks.

· Coordinate with the Project Superintendent on material procurement and delivery.

· Review technical documentation, including project specifications and drawings.

· Prepare and package material and equipment submittals based on project specifications requirements and standard details.

· Schedule and coordinate with subcontractors regarding scope and deadlines.

· Prepare and submit RFI’s related to construction issues identified in contract drawings or within submittal packages.

· Manage, track, catalog, and develop accurate logs on various material usage on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Qualifications:

· Candidates should have a four-year degree in engineering or a related technical field, and/or have substantial experience in the construction of water and/ or waste water treatment plants.

· Ability to work in a time-conscious and effective manner.

· Willingness to learn and operate in high pressure situations.

· Demonstrate job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the required tasks.

· Ability to review contract drawings, specifications, and submittal documentation.

· Proficient in using relevant software, primarily Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Bluebeam, and Procore.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization is a must.
