What you can expect from this position:Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Partnerships, Advertising & Digital Business, the Manager of Partnership Management & Delivery is responsible for overseeing the relationship between the GTAA and its current and new strategic partners, guiding them through the partnership lifecycle. This role involves managing key accounts and leading a team of Partnership Senior Representatives to ensure the successful execution of the GTAA's deliverables as outlined in various agreements. The Manager will also spearhead the development of continuous operational improvements and project management tracking, collaborating with the Growth Manager and Product Manager to identify opportunities for increasing non-aeronautical revenue, driving cost savings, and enhancing passenger experience. With a comprehensive view of the entire portfolio, including other major aeronautical and commercial activities (e.g., Food & Beverage), the Manager will assess potential collaboration opportunities and identify any risks or conflicts that could impact the GTAA's ability to meet its partner obligations.
As a Manager, Partnership Management and Delivery, you will:- Onboard new partners of Toronto Pearson, acclimating them to the airport environment to set their teams and vendors up for success
- Educate internal stakeholders on new and current partners, providing a high-level view of the partners' relationships with the Airport and giving context to how their involvement will positively impact the airport and passengers
- Act as the day-to-day relationship manager of all strategic partnerships and develop strong ties with key partner leaders
- Work closely with internal partners to improve processes and relationships to make day-to-day work for staff easier
- Research and understand partners' category, industry key players, to identify and establish new opportunities for partners at the airport, as well as foresee any potential entanglement on the horizon as a result of changes in partners' respective industries
- Lead the development of outstanding partner reporting strategies to demonstrate value to partners and build standard metrics to establish brand impact on passengers and return on investment; and for the investing partner, return on equity/ return on objective
- Develop and follow partnership industry standards to ensure that experiential marketing and/or passenger engagement programs are consistent amongst partners and ensure that airport, government and building regulations are consistently followed.
- Establish, plan and lead a partnership services line within the P&L to ensure GTAA's commitments to partners are met, and organization has funding to support developed strategies with partners that will support revenue-generating opportunities, or, serve as contingencies for any activities at the airport that may negatively impact the partners.
- Manage and track financial deliverables for our partners, owning the accounting and accrual process
- Commit to and deliver on the people manager promise to support and further the business' vision through building and development of diverse, multi-skilled teams
The salary for this management non-unionized position is competitive based on the successful candidate's qualifications.
This is the role for you, if you have:- University Degree in Business Administration or Post-secondary diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
- 5+ years of prior experience in marketing, advertising, or partner-program development in a large, complex environment
- 3+ years' experience in people management
- Previous P&L management experience
- Ability to Obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance
