At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Drilling Rig Supervisor (Day) within Eni North Africa B.V. in Bouri, Libya. You will be responsible for supervising drilling and completion operations at the wellsite, ensuring that activities are carried out with optimal results in terms of safety, time, and cost-effectiveness, in accordance with the Company's procedures, HSEQ standards and good petroleum engineering practices. Operations may be performed in remote locations, both onshore and offshore.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main responsibilities:
- Review drilling and completion programs to ensure the plan is done in accordance with the Company's procedures, considering each operation with particular attention to well integrity and operational safety.
- Supervise drilling and completion operations, representing the Company at the wellsite.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Contractors' personnel involved in the operations at the wellsite.
- Monitor the consumption and stock of materials available, and request personnel, services, equipment and materials in due time to avoid any delay in the operations.
- Report regularly on the progress of operations and agree on any corrective actions if necessary, providing support in the resolution of operational problems, including the analysis of Real-Time Drilling Data from the site.
- Ensure lessons learned and related recommendations are captured and shared to allow for the improvement of future operations.
- Participate as a member of the emergency task force in the event of a major emergency, taking immediate actions to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment.
- Liaise with HSE and Logistics representatives at the rig site.
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified to operate in wells with highly significant technical complexity and economic exposure (Level 1).
- Extensive experience in Drilling & Completion Operations, with significant subsea experience.
- Proficiency in Drilling Operations, including Horizontal Drilling, Drilling Fluids, and Cement.
- Expertise in Advanced Drilling techniques such as Lean Profile, Underbalanced Drilling, HPHT Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, Extended Reach Drilling, and Wellbore Stability.
- Experience in Completion and work-over operations, including Well Testing, Gravel Pack, and Well Stimulation.
- Knowledge of Advanced Completion techniques, such as Dual Completion and Intelligent Completion.
- Experience with Rigless Operations.
- Knowledge of cost analysis and cost control.
- Good knowledge of the main software available in the market for well data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with the digitalization process, including Real-Time Monitoring, rig site drilling packages for performance optimization, and rig automatization processes.
- Required certificates: Well Control Level 4 (IWCF or IADC), BOSIET, and H2S.
