Eni, we are looking for a
Well Site Fluids Engineer within
Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V. in
Libya, Offshore Jack-Up. You will be developing drilling & completion fluids and cement programs, ensuring technical integrity and efficiency of mud, cement and completion fluids, while optimizing investments and applying the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
As a member of the well area (engineering) department at Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V you will be responsible for: - Preparing mud, cement and completion fluids programs in accordance with company procedures, with particular attention to well integrity, best available technologies, and operational safety
- Preparing estimated cost breakdown for chemicals and related services of wells to be drilled or worked over
- Well operations follow-up on a daily basis, recommending changes in drilling / completion fluids to optimize efficiency of operations.
- Assisting rig site operations for specific jobs
- Ensuring drilling & completion fluids, cement and slurries are mixed and maintained as per program and good oilfield practice
- Making recommendations and provide specialist assistance when drilling problems occur
- Managing waste disposal to preserve the environment and in accordance with local regulations
- Providing technical advice on sampling and analysis of drilling & completion fluids, cement slurries and relevant chemical products.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: - Bachelor's degree or high school diploma
- Extensive experience in drilling & completion operations
- Significant subsea experience
- Required knowledge:
- Drilling operations (Subsea activity, Horizontal Drilling)
- Advanced drilling: Lean Profile, Underbalance Drilling, HPHT Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, Extended Reach Drilling, Wellbore Stability
- Completion and work-over operations (Well Testing, Gravel Pack, Well Stimulation)
- Rig-less Operations
- Understanding of cost analysis/cost control
- Good knowledge of well data management and reporting software
- Familiar with the digitalization process, including Real Time Monitoring, rig site drilling packages for performance optimization and rig automatization processes.
- Required certificates :
- Valid Well Control certificate
- Valid BOSIET
- H2S
- Good knowledge of English
