This role is required to support client International Gas and LNG from both an Asset Management and Business Development/ Mergers and Acquisition perspective. The primary focus areas for this role are to review and challenge operator provided life of field operating philosophies, operating cost estimates, asset integrity activities and shutdown planning providing independent estimates where appropriate. Support is additionally required within the Business Development/ Mergers and Acquisition teams to perform technical due diligence on upstream international growth opportunities. Key accountabilities for this role are as below:
Operational Oversight:
- Monitor the operator's activities to ensure compliance with JV agreements.
- Review and analyze operational reports and performance metrics.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess operational efficiency and safety.
Performance Evaluation:
- Monitor and report on the overall performance of the JV and evaluate the operator's performance against agreed-upon benchmarks.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for operational improvements.
Financial Management:
- Track and review expenditures and budgets related to JV operations ensuring cost control measures are in place and adhered to.
Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain regular communication with the operator to stay updated on project progress.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions between JV partners.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess risks and propose JV operation risk management strategies.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical expertise and support to the operator reviewing and providing feedback on technical proposals and plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all JV operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations including but not limited to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
