Region NCE > SBU NCE Service > North & West, Server & Data Plant Engineering team is responsible for Grid & Control, Server & Data, Network, Cyber Security & Multibrand installations and maintenance. Our team provide support at sales phase, execution in construction phase, and technical support during the service and maintenance of the Plants. We are responsible for both the hardware and software and have teams that specialise in the various tasks.
Due to all these activities, we are in close contact with research and development, group functions, regional organisations, authorities, field operations, and customers. With more than 150 engineers, we are the largest engineering function in the sales business unit of Vestas Northern and Central Europe.
As Plant Engineering is a part of NCE (Northern & Central Europe) we support the organization in installing and servicing a great number of SCADA systems, controlling medium and large sized wind power plants. Our job is to turn a wind turbine farms into power plants, according to contractual and regional requirements.
Responsibilities You can expect your key responsibilities to be:
- Take part in the design and configuration of complex redundancy concepts for offshore wind farms
- Configure and commission SCADA servers according to the site specific requirements
- Perform FAT/SAT for offshore projects with demanding customers
- Engage as a contributing participant in a project group that brings together a diverse range of skills and expertise, with your attention directed towards the SCADA server
Qualifications As a professional we envision that you as an individual can reflect yourself in the following:
- Relevant education within Automation, Information Technology, or similar
- Experience in commissioning and maintenance of server operating systems, primarily from the wind industry
- Knowledge of VMware
- Knowledge of networking and their configuration
- Professional English capabilities, both verbal and written
- Valid Driver's License

Additional information Location: This position is located out of our Service offices Aarhus, Denmark. We expect you to be able to be at the offices regularly. Especially in the beginning of your employment, you will be required to be at the offices.
