Position Summary
Purpose
Primary function of the Pricing Specialist is to define pricing strategies/objectives, participate in the development of price books, and ensure pricing is tracked and meets the objectives as set. This position is also responsible for ensuring the effective communication and standardization of approach to pricing within Oceaneering's OPG Business Group by working closely with sales and commercial teams and ensuring the adoption of best practice, process and pricing detail.

- Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required .
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Works with all Business Group sales and commercial managers to ensure consistency in pricing process and documentation where possible.
• Works with Business Group Product Managers, contributing to the development and implementation of pricing guidelines and the tracking of pricing initiatives.
• Works with product development to identify value propositions and go to market for new product lines and services.
• Drive implementation of best pricing practices in each business group.
• Assists business segment with standardized Pricing Performance KPI's and Dashboards.
• Assists with Cross Business Group Commercial proposals where ratification of approach and pricing is required.
• Coordinates the effective implementation of price targets and KPI's to measure performance.
• Works with Business Intelligence, Sales and Commercial to monitor market conditions and advise as to possible effects on pricing.
• Strongly advocates for value pricing over cost plus pricing to reap the value that Oceaneering creates.

Qualifications
Qualifications (Regional Variance Required)
REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related area, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of related Commercial or Finance experience
DESIRED
• Master's degree in business administration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
