Responsibilities
- Execute the directional drilling operation in the well, ensuring that the directional path is the desired one and thus meet the drilling objectives safely and economically.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards through self-assessments and well site inspections.
- Lead service quality meetings with customers and improve performance through action plans.
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain required safety training.
- Provide support to the work delivery leader.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in directional drilling operations, in runs with downhole motors and rotary systems in the marine area, demonstrable with field reports or contract appointments.
- Experience in type J, type S and horizontal wells.
- Experience in HTHP wells
- Experience in using hydraulic and torque and drag run software.
