Engineering CAD designer/ Technician Job Description We are searching for a detail-oriented, dependable, experienced engineering CAD designer or technician to join our growing team.
The candidate will collaborate with other engineering professionals and should be able to make useful recommendations when appropriate.
Responsibility - Operate and monitor additive manufacturing (3D-printing) systems and other laboratory equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Manage lab supplies and order replacement parts
- Write standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Follow test plans and execute experimental tests
- Record data, write reports and communicate results
- Maintain lab safety and always work safely
Minimum qualification & experience - High school diploma minimum. An engineering technical degree is a plus
- Working experience as an engineering CAD designer or technician with extensive skills in mechanical equipment, systems and ability to repair equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills: CAD modeling experience (Creo or Solidworks - preferred)
- Nice to have: 3D printing experience, military veteran background
