- Under general supervision, assists in Artificial Lift proposal development, Artificial Lift application recommendations and post-well evaluation of AL performance.
- Uses engineering design principles to design, recommend, and evaluate Artificial Lift systems.
- Provides technical and operational assistance primarily to internal customers (business development and field operations).
- Uses knowledge and application of engineering principles, Artificial Lift technology and processes to complete assigned projects.
- Participates in developmental programs to accelerate learning.
- Applies Artificial Lift design theory and uses company technical application software tools to execute projects.
- Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning techniques to forecast equipment failures, optimize production, and enhance the efficiency of artificial lift systems.
- Implement anomaly detection algorithms to identify irregularities in data, helping to detect equipment malfunctions or deviations in artificial lift system performance.
- Apply optimization algorithms to maximize the efficiency of artificial lift systems, considering factors such as energy consumption, production rates, and equipment longevity.
- Create clear and insightful visualizations to communicate complex findings to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making regarding artificial lift system performance and optimization.
- Develop data models and algorithms that enable remote monitoring and control of ESP systems through SCADA infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science.
- 2 years of industry experience, which includes artificial lift applications, required.
