This position has an important part in growing technical Siting engineer for a specific region / sub-region. The siting engineer activities include identifying and quantifying technical risks of wind power projects and generating and capturing value through innovative customized technical solutions.

Responsibilities - Single point of contact for planning work and resources, delegate tasks and set deadlines. Facilitate preparation for auctions and tenders by early engagement.
- Responsbility towards high level of employee engagement, satisfaction and motivation.
- Evaluate engineers performance andset clear goals in Continuous Performance & Development (CPD).
- Ensure communications towards stakeholders are on time. Listen and Motivate team members. Encourage creativity and critical thinking.
- Ensure technical review process (Guidelines & Checklists) reflects regional specific requirements if any. Mitigate technical risks in daily execution for responsible SBU.
- Responsible towards monitor, tracking performance and reporting through necessary KPI
- Review proposals by Lead Engineers and Specialists for tools/process enrichments to stay ahead in the market.
- Coach and Mentor new/existing members and discover Training needs for team.
- Handling critical projects if required on a need basis
Qualifications - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Siting / wind resource assessment
- 2+ years experience in Growing the team
- Bachelor's / Masters degree in Engineering. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, ECE or Aerospace engineering is desired
- Fluent and clear in written and spoken English
- Experience with industry specific software applications such as WAsP, windPRO highly desired
- Have an interest in wind, terrain, aerodynamics and dynamically loaded constructions
