How to contribute to our vision For our Site Training team within the Construction Site Resources department, we are looking for an experienced
Technical Trainer for Lifting operations with expertise in
yoke lifting or
crane operations who has a strong background in offshore wind, specifically in the use ofyoke lifting equipment.
This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that cover both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for safe and efficient yoke lifting in offshore wind environments.
As a Technical Trainer in lifting operations you will be part of a team that creates, analyses, implements, books and monitors training requirements for hundreds of offshore employees and contractors worldwide, in order to ensure fulfillment of the demand from our Offshore projects.
Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Development and delivery of technical training programs for offshore wind technicians based upon business needs primarily conducted at our training facility in Esbjerg .
- Develop and deliver simulator-based training programs to replicate real-world offshore scenarios of offshore main components, enhancing the practical skills of technicians.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions on yoke lifting procedures and techniques, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Actively contribute to the continued development of our technicians.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, both in classroom settings and on-site
- Secure technical support in the Site Training department as well as in Construction Site Resources.
- Proactively communicate with the project sites and back-office, identifying areas or topics suitable for on-site training, all in support of the continued development of our technicians.
As Technical Trainer, you will report to the Team lead of Training development & Execution. You will have an outstanding opportunity of working in a cross-functionally and highly professionally business training environment. This job offers great learning opportunities and full insight into all elements of site execution. You must expect at least 30 - 50 travel days per year.
What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone with the following characteristics and competencies:
- The ideal candidate will have astrong background in offshore windtechnology,hands-on experience, and a passion for teaching and delivering high-quality simulator training.
- You have a strong background from an operational environment, and you have experience in training development or delivery with focus on technical content.
- You have either worked as an electrician or have a deep and advanced knowledge of electronics.
- You are motivated by people development and the linked administrative tasks.
- It comes naturally to you to navigate in a busy and dynamic environment, where the situation changes from day to day.
- You have a structured, solution oriented and an analytical approach to your work.
- In general, you demonstrate a "why not" attitude, are self-driven but also possess a great sense of team spirit.
- The trainings will mainly be conducted in English, so it is important that you are fluent orally as well as in writing.
- Prior experience with lifting is considered beneficial.
