For our Construction Solution Center, we are looking for an Operational Support Manager to join our team in Vejle and provide guidance and troubleshooting doing the execution part ofthe wind farm.
How to contribute to our vision:
As Operational Support Manager, you will be a part of a team of 7 people based in Vejle, Denmark, providing support to our technicians working offshore.
A typical day as an Operational Support Manager at Siemens Gamesa Wind power is dynamic and impactful. Everyday, you will have an eye on the project performance, see where we can support the projects, and how we can improve going forward.
You will have a daily dialog with sites worldwide and will be a key role in connecting the sites to back-office.
It is therefore essential that you have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the windmill industry and are familiar with troubleshooting on windmill turbines and/or equipment. Perhaps you have a background as an electrician, mechanic, machinist engineer, but in case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways, your application is just as well appreciated.
It is essential that you have knowledge and experience with working with electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
As a person, we are looking for a motivating team player, who is calm, responsible, and positive. You must be able to provide guidance and support in sometimes hectic and stressful moments. It is therefore important that you have a solution-oriented mindset, work well with others, and have great communication skills.
It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. You must possess excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Danish will be considered an advantage.
