Job Duties and QualificationsUnder general supervision, understands the company&aposs business systems, business processes and controls, including policies and procedures, relative to the location and department assigned. Prepares accounting reports, and increasingly complex accounting analyses with related spreadsheets or applications input, and identifies and resolves issues. Understands organizational structure of the company. Prepares and posts journal vouchers for accounting transactions. Researches and resolves basic accounting issues and transactions including related internal controls. Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or other related field and a minimum of nine (9) months of experience in accounting related roles. Knowledge of US GAAP or country- specific accounting principles required. Job role is developmental and intended to expose incumbents to moderately complex aspects of general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, and financial applications as well as intermediate levels of proficiency with industry and company acumen.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:- Support operations in day-to-day operations as a trusted financial/ business partner.
- Work closely with business on working capital management and Support operations in fixed asset utilization
- Revenue recognition & revenue controls in compliance to the US GAAP & ASC 606.
- Reconciliation of revenue & COGS before the month end and ensuring timely closure of books of accounts as a part of month end accounting activity.
- Review of P&L on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of revenue and costs.
- Preparation of Cost accruals and posting of JV, ensuring revenue and costs are accounted in the correct period.
- Supporting operations in preparation of Monthly latest thinking forecast.
- Support operations in various Variance Analysis - Actual vs forecast, Actual vs plan etc.
- Financial modelling to support tenders and business acquisition.
Basic Qualifications: CMA/ICWA/CA-Inter/MBA/CPA
Total Years of Experience: 6 plus years work experience into FP&A/ Finance Business Partnering role
Desired/Preferred Expertise: SAP/ Hyperion Essbase/ Excel/ Financial modelling/ Flexible
Characteristics: Confidence/ Individual Contributor role
