The LCM team branches out into 3 main pillars: Cost-out, Input Signal Management and Design Maintenance, with Engineering Change Management as support to all branches.
Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate technical project activities
- Select mechanical concepts, define solutions and plan solutions validation
- Participate in field testing to validate tools and value chain processes
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain
- Supervise design risks of our solutions, tools and drawing
- Ensure communication with suppliers and manufacturing, making sure to meet design targets and timelines
- Generate solutions for design challenges
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Structural / Civil / Similar Engineering degree
- Overall experience should be 5+ years of career experience in similar position
- Experience in mechanical design and specification in compliance with relevant international standards
- Experience in CAD development software (CREO) and Windchill
- Work in technical documents like DFMEA, DRA, DVRE, DVPR, Work instructions
- Knowledge of transport, installation or maintenance of heavy/complex tools and process is beneficial
- Experience in Engineering change management process and conduct cross functional design reviews
- Interest in structural analysis and FEA (Preferably ANSYS). Any previous experience can be an added advantage
- Experience / interest in Scrum methodology or other Agile-related method
