Vestas' Service Operation Support Department for Poland and Baltic countries is a part of Vestas Service Poland which is responsible for supporting operational activities on the wind turbines. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth.
The Service Planning Professional Agent is responsible for technical planning related to components subjected to periodic inspections and specialized works, including reporting through internal and external customer reporting platforms in Poland and Baltics. Reporting to the Team Leader, Service Administration for Poland and Baltics, the candidate will work closely with Regional Dispatchers, Field Operations and Global support functions.
We are looking for motivated, energized and competent Technical Planner who, with his experience and commitment, will have a beneficial impact on the implementation of tasks carried out throughout the company's structure. Due to the versatility of task, a person dedicated to this role can significantly influence and develop company in technical planning, as well as directly develop personal skills, based on the activities of this role.
Responsibilities - Identifying the correct documentation (i.e. safety, technical) to carry out the job
- Linking the correct components needed to carry out the job and find them on technical drawing
- Liaising with Technical Support when required to gain further technical knowledge to assist with preparing more complex jobs. Administrative governance in relation to PR/PO realization for required maintenance within role responsibility
- Technically complete of service orders once they have come back from the field, asses hours taken on the job, components used, and identify if further work is required
- Use, develop and create standard service job templates that show each individual job task, time required to complete each task, manpower and tooling required, safety / permitting requirements, the order in which each individual task is the be performed as part of an individual service
- Work on internal and external platforms/ applications to ensure data accuracy towards the customers system (Dynamics)
- Cooperation with other technical and field operations departments to continuously improve the role and processes
Qualifications - Technical background (previous experience in wind industry)
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical competency
- Engineering technical qualification, as recommended
- Very good verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
- MS office, SAP experience
