If so, Vestas may have the opportunity for you!Region NCE >SBU NCE Service > Server & Data - Central, East Plant Engineering is a part of NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and supports the organization in installing and servicing a great number of SCADA systems, and controlling medium and large-sized wind power plants. Our job is to turn a bunch of wind turbines into a power plant, according to contractual and regional requirements. Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.
We are looking for candidates for the position of SCADA Engineer.
Responsibilities - Commissioning and maintaining Vestas SCADA solutions and other automated functionalities in our power plants, based on Vestas standards and customer requirements
- Sharing knowledge and contributes in optimizing and improving our product solutions
- Supporting our service business, with hardware replacements and other service tasks
- Participation in Site Acceptance Tests
- Operational support to our wind farms (service orders, technical support)
- Technical advice to our internal and external stakeholders
- Customer and 3rd party interaction
Qualifications - Relevant education in Information Technology and industrial electricity and electronics knowledge
- Experience with Linux, SQL servers and MS Office package
- Experience in commissioning and maintenance of server operating systems
- Good English skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with VMware will be counted as a benefit
- Knowledge of networking and their configuration will be counted as a valuable asset
- Experience in working with wind turbines will be counted as a beneficial asset

- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments as needed
- Proven ability to work both with limited supervision and in teams
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with working in a high-paced and fast-changing environment
