Their approach involves crafting and implementing innovative methods to preemptively identify and address potential equipment failures and damages, which in turn supports the improvement of overall service operations.
Responsibilities - Technical reporting of potential reliability conditions and deliver according to KPIs and SLAs
- Providing technical guidance and coaching for the team members in order to build a comprehensive technical team
- Addressing the technical queries from stakeholders based on the business priority
- Taking the right technical decisions and deploying the right strategies. Support Managementin defining technical skill matrix for their respective team members
- A3(RCFA) approvals of the respective team / Driving A3(RCFA) of their respective regions
- Implementing the quality audit action points Coordinating with the development team and other cross-functional teams on various operational/technical topics Optimizing and improving the tool performance in collaboration with the development team for Identifying and implementing high business impact cases in the respective region and work on possible solutions to improve detectability
- Initiate and support continuous improvement discussions with stakeholders
- Regional Travel or Travel rotations
- Submit proposals and Reviews for tools/process enrichments and to take corrective actions
- Support to service operations on interpreting the predictive models to optimize maintenance
- Supporting in the long-term projects
- Review documents and standardize processes
- Responsible for preparing their respective A3 on the critical incidents
- Responsible for customer ticket tracking for region assigned
Qualifications - M.E/MTech/B.E./B.Tech. - Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer
- Level II / Level-III Vibration Certification as defined by ISO 18436-2
- 8+ years of experience in industry with Vibration Analysis, Condition Monitoring
Competencies - Experience on SKF or BKV or TCM vibration analyzer technologies can be an added advantage
- Good Understanding and knowledge of Vibration Analysis Software, Vibration Data Acquisition systems, Vibration sensors, and various Condition Monitoring techniques
- Good understanding of gearbox, generator, and bearing failure modes and problem-solving
- Expertise in Root Cause Failure Analysis, Basic Fault Diagnosis, and Condition Evaluation
- Experienced on the commercial side, and decidedly "hands-on" and not just theoretical
- Bring not just an analytics-orientation, but the ability to use analytics to drive key success metrics related to yield management and revenue generation
- Fluency in English and have good communication, presentation skills
- Pro-active, structured, self-motivated, communicative, reliable, credible, open minded, ambitious
- Should be willing to travel abroad
- Six Sigma - DMAIC/DFSS, good understanding about the application of various statistical tools in data analysis and problem-solving
- Exposure to Condition Monitoring of Wind Turbines
- Knowledge on SQL, Python, Matlab and R is advantageous
