Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting new leads in the Life Sciences vertical, which includes pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, and adjacent markets, partnering with sales engineers and account managers to accelerate growth and market penetration of Analytical Instruments' new endotoxin and bioburden technology platforms. You will grow our business by laying the foundation for successful client relationships in North America.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is focused on the lead qualification process and filling a large funnel of viable opportunities for the field sales team to close. Day to day tasks will include online research for prospecting leads, cold calling, farming the current sales opportunity database, and creating your own nurture campaigns. Adaptability, resourcefulness, and customer focus are core competencies of this role. The role will include a salary and variable incentive based on a sales incentive plan (SIP) where an SDR is incentivized for both leads converted to sales opportunities and opportunities that result in new sales. The SDR role is an excellent starting position for someone with long term goals within field sales or account management.

Duties & Responsibilities - Generate new leads using existing customer networks
- Cold call and email new customer networks
- Create email nurture campaigns for self-generated lists
- Maintain accuracy of accounts and leads in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Technical understanding of our technology portfolio and the corresponding value proposition
- Ability to work closely with multiple account managers and sales engineers and communicate clearly all outcomes from lead generation and conversion process
- Builds initial relationship with new customers, creating a positive experience, and laying foundation of brand recognition of new Sievers technologies
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:- Familiar with LinkedIn networking system
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheet spreadsheets
- Familiar with Gmail email system
- Experienced with SalesForce.com (Optional)
Education & ExperienceRequired: Technical Degree No experience required.
Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Life Sciences discipline.
Commercial experience whether in Life Sciences industry or other industries.
Salary Range: $25-30/hour USD
