Project Manager - Engineering & Construction to lead the delivery of large-scale solar PV plants across Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle-from permitting and contracting to commissioning-ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage the permitting, contracting, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of ground-mounted solar PV plants.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with EPC contractors, grid operators, governmental bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee multiple solar projects simultaneously, ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned and informed.
- Review and approve contractor documentation, monitor plant performance, and report on progress and incidents during construction.
- Promote safe and efficient work environments, driving continuous improvement in PV engineering standards, QA/QC, and best practices.
- Regular travel to project sites will be required to monitor progress and ensure compliance.
Ideal Candidate: - Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects, with a strong understanding of the Italian solar market and grid connection procedures.
- Strong contract negotiation and budget management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project Management software (e.g., MS Project), and working knowledge of AutoCAD and PVSyst.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian.
