Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth in the international nuclear security and other critical infrastructure markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, capable of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Prerequisites: At a minimum the ideal candidate will have military special operations experience as an operator, a college degree, and a proven track record in corporate sales. Resumes lacking any of these three key prerequisites will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the physical security sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and sales presentations to potential clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications:
- Military special operations experience as an operator is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years proven success in corporate sales and business development.
- Strong understanding of the physical security industry and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
