30636 - OPERATIONS GEOLOGIST ASSISTANTAt
Eni, we are looking for an
Operations Geologist Assistant within
Eni Cote d'Ivoire in
Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. You will ensure the follow up of the operations geology activities in both operated and non-operated activities, working in close coordination with the Drilling and Reservoir departments. You will also prepare programs for exploration and development wells and the internal and external geological daily report, while maintaining continuous communication with the well site geologist.
As a member of the Geological Operations Department, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring of well operations :
- Assuring good knowledge of the main technologies (mud logging, logging, coring) and their relevant interpretation methods (gas presence analysis, geopressure estimate, exploration log interpretation).
- Taking part in supervision activities relating to operations carried out on-site, liaising with companies providing geological services.
- Supporting management of contracts for geological data acquisition activities relating to wells.
- Taking part in specialized projects to evaluate or develop new equipment.
- Coordination and interaction with other professionals involved in the planning, well creation and evaluation (exploration, reservoir, drilling, petrophysics, laboratories) providing active support during the decision-making stages.
- Monitoring of the HSE aspect, applying necessary corrective actions if applicable, in compliance with the standers of the company.
- Drafting of technical reports:
- Taking part in activities designed to monitor data flow, from data acquisition to data entry in corporate databases.
- Equipment verification:
- Ensuring constant update of software used for data analysis.

- Bachelor's degree in Geology.
