Senior Process Engineer within
Coral FLNG SA in
Maputo,
Mozambique. You will provide technical support and assist the Lead Process Engineer in achieving high engineering standards, improving plant thermal efficiency and daily plant operations. You will conduct daily heat and material balance calculations for the train, perform unit simulations to verify optimal operating conditions, monitor key process parameters and investigate root causes and responses to plant operational problems.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:
- Review project deliverables and support technical evaluations.
- Represent Process engineering for FAT & SAT.
- Support transition from commissioning to operations.
- Monitor key process parameters and recommend actions for deviations.
- Provide timely process support to maximize production.
- Identify optimization opportunities and implement performance tests.
- Prepare performance test reports and participate in HAZOP/Safety reviews.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise mole sieve bed replacements.
- Maintain process simulation and design software.
- Participate in plant de-bottlenecking and expansion studies.
- Troubleshoot processes and provide operating guidelines.
- Investigate plant trips and slowdowns, support emergency response plans.
- Participate in HSE audits.
- Respond to Operations' call-outs.
- Provide technical support to Maintenance, Production and Project departments.
- Plan and execute shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Ensure safe and compliant process operations and projects.
- Report lessons learned from plant upsets.
- Evaluate post-commissioning performance and close out audit items.
- Interface with Operations and Technical Service Engineering Team.
- Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment compliance.
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Certification as an Associate Engineer or Fundamental Engineer.
- Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong background in project and interface management.
- Relevant experience in APCI LNG operations.
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary activities and deliver technical and progress reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multinational environment and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
