About the role:-
Monitor manufacturing operations and ensure products and services are meeting the quality assurance program, custom-er requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry/regulatory standard
Essential Responsibilities:-
1. Prepare scan plan and technique sheet for NDT methods
2. Review NDE requirement and perform below activates independently.
- MPI (weldment, raw material, machined parts)
- LPT (weldment, raw material, machined parts)
- UT (weldment, raw material, machined parts)
- RT (weldment)
- Clad Thickness measurement.
3. To verify control identification and traceability mark of product during all stages of production and record.
4. Identify, label and generate quality report as well as non conformance report for all defective materials.
5. Interface and co-ordinate with customer
•s representative for material require TPI hold point inspection.
6. Perform NDT inspection for product and services done at source, ensure suppliers are perform as per engineering
7. specifications and comply with quality assurance procedure.
8. Participate in HSE program and proactively involve in improving HSE culture in site.
9. Perform other quality related activities assigned by Quality control supervisor
10. Ensure product and services ( In-house or procured) are complying to Engineering specifications, drawing, Engineering Bill Of Materials (BOM) and customer's requirements and industry
11. Complete jobs within standard hours provided in MOs and shall actively involve in SGIA to reduce cycle time.
12. Maintain all tools & fixtures, hand tools and keep work area clean and tidy. Record all the process sheets as required. Inspect and maintain his work area clean.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Diploma in mechanical engineering or technical discipline preferred
- ISO 9712 NDT level II in MT,PT and UT ,And RI experience
- Company issued NDT level II as per SNT-TC 1A is mandatory ,subjected to demonstrated skills.
- Minimum 3 years
• experience in the oil field environment or heavy machine manufacturing facilities - Ability to work with people of various social, cultural and religious backgrounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Prefer to have ASME ,API and ASTM knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Require to work shifts and irregular hours
