Job Title: Drilling Supervisor with HPHT Experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Supervisor to oversee and manage drilling operations for High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) wells. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling engineering and a proven track record of successfully managing HPHT projects. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Management: Oversee daily drilling operations, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- HPHT Expertise: Apply specialized knowledge in managing HPHT wells, including pressure control, temperature management, and equipment handling.
- Planning & Execution: Develop and implement drilling plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely execution of drilling activities.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, utilizing technical expertise and innovative solutions.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on drilling progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.
- Training & Development: Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in drilling , with at least 5 years in HPHT wells.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in well control techniques, drilling software, and HPHT equipment.
- Safety Focus: Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven solutions.
