Job Summary
Responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing various brand, marketing, and business initiatives.
Essential Position Functions:
• Assists the brand marketing manager/director in developing and executing marketing plans and brand/marketing initiatives across multiple categories.
• Leads cross-functional teams, including external agencies, on brand and category projects.
• Researches and analyzes consumer data to monitor product, brand, promotional performance, and market trends.
• Assists in the development of new product ideas and product improvements.
• Generates relevant category performance metrics, identifying opportunities and making recommendations to ensure goals are reached consistently.
• Communicates brand direction to Communication team to support social media efforts for category-specific products, brand campaigns and retailer programs.
• Develops strategies, analyses, and recommendations for executing pricing actions.
• Coordinates with Trade marketing team on customer and channel specific projects.
• Analyzes industry and category trends and provides competitive analyses.
• Proofs and coordinates new branded packaging projects.
• Provides support for corporate and industry events.
• Prepares and conducts internal and external presentations, as needed.
• Manages budget – tracking, reconciliation and reporting.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required, MBA is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in Marketing required; consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong PC skills are required, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to successfully juggle multiple projects at once.
• Prior project management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Circana/Nielsen experience is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative, to work well both autonomously and as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Office environment
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
• Occasional lifting of packages in excess of up to 20 lbs. is required.
