Position Specific Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Programmer Analyst with 1-2 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Salesforce platform development, CI/CD pipeline, and deployment processes. You will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our Salesforce environment by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
- Support and maintain Salesforce environments, including sandbox deployment, data migration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications and deployment processes.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Salesforce DevOps processes.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with Salesforce platform changes, updates, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and DevOps processes.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce DX.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I) are a plus.

• Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
• Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
• Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems
• Designs, develops, and tests experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames
• Ensures that applications processes are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, security, compliance, environmental, and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation
• Acts as liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors on matters relating to computer systems as required
• Defines metrics and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for systems being developed
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
