DutiesAs a Financial Manager (Chief, Office of Financial Management), you will:
- Direct the development, preparation, justification and execution of the Bureau's budget. (Over $3 billion in FY 24)
- Direct the development and execution of the Bureau's capital investment plan.
- Direct the internal and external financial reporting processes, Departmental submissions, monthly cost reports and required financial reporting to the Financial Management Service, the Office, of Management and Budget, etc.
- Oversee the production of BEP's quarterly and annual audited financial statements which are prepared in accordance with Commercial Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as the agency's Annual Report.
- Guide the development of product price proposals to ensure that the Bureau's revolving fund provides the resources needed to fund day-to-day operations, working capital, and planned capital investments.
Requirements Conditions of Employment- A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.

GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the

. Specialized experience includes performing financial management and managerial functions to support planning and execution of programs.Examples of such experience could include:

- The facility typically shuts down annually between Christmas and New Year's Day. As such, all BEP employees must take leave for workdays during the shutdown period.
