We are seeking a Field Applications Specialist to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for validating and testing of our hardware and firmware, implementing and testing installations at the custmers and actively work with Hardware and Product teams to deliver perfect solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tests of firmware and hardware
- Analyze user needs and design solutions
- Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
- Validate installations of hardware at customers
- Collaborate with other developers to design test procedures
- Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing use cases
- Document all tasks and procedures
- Perform routine system checks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hardware development, computer engineering, or other related fields
- Knowledge of automotive protocols: CAN-bus, J1939
- Knowledge of Javavascript, Python, or other programming languages
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
