Legal Student Intern is can develop in different projects such as:
Legal Contracts Student Intern:
- Conducts reviews, negotiations and supports the contracting processes of suppliers and clients with whom SLB has relationships.
- Makes reviews with the contract manager, for documentation support.
- Generate documentation necessary for the approval of new contracts.
- Manage contracts and ensure that they have procedures in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Manage contracts in the business system.
Corporate Entity Student Intern:
- Support CEM / CES day-to-day operations. Adhere to the CEM standard operating procedures (LDP & LD).
- Support and provide basic training. Monitor participation. Register training in the platform.
- Support in daily requests; generate reports. Brief and update the CEM / CES on pending matters progress.
- Support and follow up billing task to ensure payment of invoices on times.
- Help CEM manage the program to ensure the CEM function operates within the agreed scope of work.
- Support and follow up proper administration of entities incorporated in such jurisdictions in accordance with global policies, standards and best practices relating to corporate administration.
- Support and follow up corporate restructuring projects, including liquidations and merger.
- Help standardize and manage local CEM compliance.
- Ensure information in CEM platforms are up-to-date and consistent, including CODA and ONIT.
- Support CEM / CES and follow up that director and officer appointments are up to date for the legal entities and branches supported, including database entries, and arrange for local filing of changes where required. Draft shareholder and board resolutions, circulate for signature, and ensure that they are kept up to date.
- Keep templates of shareholder and board resolutions up to date. Ensure that amended templates are shared in the appropriate repository.
- Support to CEM / CES to ensure that legal entities and branches in the territory of responsibility are updated in the corporate database.
- Support to CEM / CES to ensure that corporate matters, including share transfers, restructuring, liquidation, dissolution and service provider details, are properly entered and uploaded to CEM platforms.
Portuguese is a plus
