IRC225913 - SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER
At Eni, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer within Eni Iraq B.V. in Basra , Iraq . You will be supporting the Vendor Qualification process and Vendor Database management, based on sound commercial, financial, technical and quality requirements.
As a member of the Contracts & Procurement department you will be responsible for :
• Providing support to the Vendor Qualification & Development team in Iraq, including market intelligence activities
• Assisting with the verification and approval of the Vendor List in accordance with contract strategy and procurement plan
• Managing vendor qualification communication channels, facilitating continual improvement in working relationships
• Managing, updating and maintaining the Product and Services Classification List and relevant Vendor Qualification & Development databases
• Analyse vendor feedback received by the user
• Updating the Vendor Qualification Capability Profile through periodic analysis of vendor's re-evaluation and feedback reports
• Managing external contractors assisting the vendor qualification process
• Development of local content in Vendor's capability profile
• Registration of potential suppliers in Vendor Qualification & Development databases
• Preparation of the vendor management plan and ensure its quarterly update
• Support the department with the preparation of internal reports, which enable identification of suitable planning and monitoring
• Ensuring compliance with the Company and Eni HQ applicable procedures
• Conducting counterparty risk assessment in line with applicable procedures
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with Iraqi Statutory Health, Safety and Environment regulations, as well as with company's Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety Management systems
• Ensuring that Eni Iraq B.V. corporate Health, Safety and Environment Policy is included in all Contracts, if applicable
• Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
• Educated to degree level (Engineering, Economics or Legal preferred)
• Significant experience in the Oil and Gas industry and in the requested area of expertise
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to work effectively with people from multiple cultures and backgrounds
• Work experience in Middle East area desirable
• Audit criteria and relevant tools certification (ISO 19011)
• ISO Standards related to quality certification (ISO 9001)
• knowledge of main standards for management systems ISO related to HSE (ISO 14001 and 45001) desirable
• Fully competent in MS Office. Access Database and SAP desirable
• Strong orientation towards results and assigned objectives, confidentiality
• Knowledge of communication processes and relevant tools
• Knowledge and ability to carry out assessments in the sustainability field. Knowledge of ISO SA8000 desirable
• Knowledge of decarbonisation and circular economy issues
• Ability to prepare operational and management reports on monitored activities
• Knowledge of balance sheet analysis is desirable
• Passion and knowledge of innovative technological trends, propensity to analyse and solve problems with varied objectives and constraints, as well as a natural interest in commercial and technical/contractual aspects linked to technological innovation.
