Position Summary Corrosion monitoring/mapping, report writing, communicating, safety, NDT inspection and corrosion monitoring for pipes, structures, vessels, tanks, raisers, etc. are integral part of the job
Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL
• Execute NDT techniques as listed below on items of static equipment and associated piping.
• Ad-hoc NDT inspections as directed by Supervisors.
• Produce detailed reports with isometrics or sketches showing the areas inspected and the results obtained
• Support NDT inspection programs.
• Ensure all NDT Testing and Reporting requirements complies with Oceaneering procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and complies with Oceaneering procedures.
• Ensure all mandatory assigned training modules are completed within a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with Oceaneering Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems
• Mentoring and coaching of host country nationals.
• Supervising of new or trainee technicians while carrying out site work activities.
NON-ESSENTIAL

REQUIRED • PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - RT - level 2 - Radiographic Testing. (Conventual, Digital, Real Time)
• PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - UT - level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing.
• PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - MT - level 2 - Magnetic Particle Testing.
• PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - PT - level 2 - Dye/Liquid Penetrant Testing.
• IRATA Level 1 or 2 - Rope Access
• Offshore medical, BOSIET / Offshore Survival certification
• Confined Space Entry training
NOTE: Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certificate and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position. (
Qualification Required will vary depending on the client's requirements for Radiographic Testing). DESIRED • PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - ET - level 2 - Eddy Current Testing

• PMI Certification
• IR Level 1

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Proficient in reading and writing English. (E).
• High School Diploma or the equivalent, Minimum grade 12 certification (E).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in corrosion monitoring / mapping. (E).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in NDT inspection in the Oil and Gas Industry utilizing Rope Access. (E).
• Minimum 5 years, experience in EC crack and detection
• Demonstrated experience on piping and pressure vessels inspection and repair procedures (E).
• Digital Radiographic Testing (P)
• Real Time Radiographic Testing (P)
• Familiar with QA/QC systems/procedures and NDT techniques. (P)
• Previous experience of coaching and mentoring (P) .
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suits.
• Gives and receives constructive feedback while coaching and mentoring activities.
• Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within the work group.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Fundamental written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of corrosion mechanisms and monitoring (P)
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy (P)

This position is considered ONSHORE--OFFSHORE which is characterized as follows:
• Outdoors and indoors, day and night, as well as over/near water
• Requires working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment

• Potential exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
• Constant exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
• Work surface is stable, height is elevated
• Requires working with radiation.
