Position Summary
Purpose
Applies the principles of engineering in the delivery and execution of the offshore IRM project.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Work with the subsea inspection in maintaining the asset integrity database for the clients
• Offshore collected inspection data review and processing
• Prepares the procedures and specifications for compliance with standards and customer requirements
• Research methods for improving the project delivery schedule and quality implementation of the project
• Work with suppliers in order to find solutions to problems, perform required updates or implement technology Items
• Prepare schedules, calculation, reports, drawings and presentations as required
NON-ESSENTIAL
• Assist with any other duties as and when required.
• Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.
Safety
Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to as far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment.
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
• Reporting to Subsea Projects Engineer.
• Work directed by Project manager or technical manager per project
Qualifications
Qualifications
REQUIRED
• Degree level qualifications in engineering;
• 5 years' relevant experience
• Fluency in Portuguese language;
• Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal;
DESIRED
• Medical certification updated
• Inspection and survey Software knowledge
• Working experience of Subsea engineering projects;
• Good knowledge in economic analysis and justification;
• Experience in project planning;
• Experience in the utilization offshore vessels including cranes, winches and structures; ••
• Experience of ROV operations, procedures and techniques
• Experience in Diving operations, procedures and techniques
• Detailed knowledge of equipment needed for the implementation of the project;
• Knowledge of all necessary engineering software for each area of analysis;
• Experience in software (Autocad, Mathcad, Solidworks, Orcaflex)
