About the Role
As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the power of Amorphic to state and local government agencies. You will leverage your technical expertise and pre-sales experience to:
- Uncover Client Needs: Identify data challenges and opportunities faced by government agencies.
- Solution Architect: Design and tailor data analytics and AI solutions using the Amorphic platform to address client requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Deeply understand data analytics and AI concepts, with a focus on Amorphic's capabilities.
- Compelling Demos: Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations that showcase the Amorphic platform's value proposition for government agencies.
- Requirement Gathering: Ask insightful questions to understand client needs and technical specifications for demos and proofs of concept (POCs).
- AWS Savvy: Possess a strong understanding of AWS data analytics services and serverless architecture.
- Pre-Sales Pro: Bring your pre-sales experience to the table, effectively qualifying leads and positioning Amorphic as the ideal solution.
- Communication is Key: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, marketing, engineering) to ensure a seamless pre-sales experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, ideally within the data analytics or AI space.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and AI concepts.
- Experience with AWS data analytics services and serverless architecture is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging technical presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
