At Eni we are looking for a Junior Residual Biomass Recovery and Valorization who, within the Biomass Recovery and Valorization team of the Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage, Forestry & Agro-Feedstock (CCUS&FA) function, will be responsible for supporting the evaluation and analysis of projects and initiatives relating to the valorization of agricultural, industrial and forestry residues.
Who will you work with:
Agri Feedstock is a recently established unit in which agronomic skills will be concentrated for the identification, launch and monitoring of bio feedstock production development projects in the countries in which Eni operates.

Within the Biomass Recovery and Valorization team you will be responsible for:
- Support in the finalization of economic analyses aimed at the valorization of agricultural, industrial and forestry residues, taking into account availability, quality of industrial transformation costs, international logistics, also with the help of market analyses, interviews and other analysis tools.
- Participate in scouting for opportunities and counterparts in the countries of interest, for the development of business activities aimed at the supply of waste
- Support the drafting of supply contracts with the identified counterparties, in conjunction with the competent Eni functions;
- Support the follow up of initiatives in the countries of interest with Eni geographical units and local counterparts
This is the opportunity for you if you meet these requirements:
- Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Engineering (preferably Environmental Engineering), Economics, Statistics and degrees in qualitative sciences.
- Work experience less than 3 years. Previous experience in the field of biomass supply for renewable energy production, feasibility studies and market analysis is a plus
- Work experience in non-European contexts is a plus
- Knowledge of agro-industrial or agro-forestry supply chains for energy purposes and vegetable oil supply chains for biofuel production is a plus
- Basic knowledge of reference regulations on renewable energy from biomass, biofuels, sustainability certifications for biofuels and LCA analysis is preferable
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of English; knowledge of French and Portuguese are considered a plus
- Full availability for frequent travel to non-European contexts and international mobility
